According to me, one of the most innovating application of last years remains Netvibes, even if it is clearly not new anymore. Because the issue of nowaday on Internet is not just to create new applications, but to make the use of these applications easier. That is exactly what Netvibes does, allowing you to put all your favorite website, applications or RSS on the same page. That avoids you to loose your time going on each websites you want, and it allows  everyone to have a very personal approach of Internet informations.

Using Internet during a political campagn is not something new. During the previous American presidential campaign, the specialists ahd already notice thet the Internet was an important media to promote political values and win a confrontation. In France, since the vote for the European Constitution (where the “no” won, even if it was an opinion only supported on the web) nobody can imagine a campaign without a web strategy.

According to this, Obama strategy on theInternet is not a revolution, but the impressiv fact is clearly force he gives to his web campaign. Never before a politician put so much will and money in the web to p^romote his campaign. For Obama, Internet is not a good media to give his oponions, it is THE media. Therefor, Obama team has managed to be very present on the main social networks, such as Facebook, where the Obama page has 203 000 freinds, much more than Hilary Clinton or John Mc Cain. The Obama team also put effort in the promotion and diffusion of videos of their candidat. On Youtube for example, the official page of Obama has 350 videos.

The P.A.V.O., the famous video association of the Celsa, has just make a new video for the J-E (“junior entreprise). This production was done to compete the “junior lipdub challenge”, organized by the french junior entreprise association. “Junior entreprise”, “lipdub”, you do not understand what I am talking about? Let me explain.

A “junior entreprise” is a school association which works like a small company within the school. Its goal is to propose to other societies the skills of the school students for some specific missions. This process is interesting for societies, because giving a mission to the junior communication is less expensive than giving it to a professional service provider. And off course, this is very interesting for students, who can improve their professional experience… and get money!

A lipdub is a specific kind of funny video, with one music and a group of people singing in “playback” on it. The all video must be filmed in only one sequence, which is very difficult to do. Actually, the lipdub style wasn’t very practicized on the web until an american communication agency, Connected Venture, decided to do a funny lipdub challenge between all original societies of the world (here is the page of this challenge, with all the first lipdubs). Since the begining of this game, a lot of lipdub have been made and this kind of video is now very appreciated is companies.

2) The trend on Internet business: create a successful website and sell it for good money. So what are you waiting for? Your 10 dollars page website is a success, sell it! There will certainly be an optimistic (and idiot) man to buy it for 5 dollars.

3) Now you have 15 dollars. You wonder how to make millions with this on Internet? Online betting is your solution! Just go on the page of the Juventus-Genoa football match betting. And bet your 15 dollars on Anthony Vander Borre for the man who will score the first goal. If you win, that makes 750 dollars! What? Anthony Vander Borre will never score the first goal? He will even not score at all, because he is a bad player of a bad team? Don’t worry, I have the trick: just find his phone number, and ask him to score the first goal!

4) Now you have 750 $, you can try something harder. Let’s think, what is the nowadays web success? Social Network, isn’t it? So try to do create your own social Network. But obviously, something different than Facebook or Myspace, something more… specialized. It is easy: who doesn’t have a specialized web social network today? Not teenagers, not rich people, not workers… PETS! That is the idea: pets doesn’t have a social network to be connected and create their own web space. In the western countries, about one person on two have a pet, and I am sure than lots of those persons would accept to create a page for their animals. Now you have the idea, you just have to find an informatics student (it will be less expensive) to create your website for 750 $. And then find a name for this website… lets try “Petface”. Sounds great, no? Wait for the “visitors” to create pages on Petface, and when you have reach something like 10 million members, sell the site to Microsoft, for million $!

Today, if you want to raise funds for your business, or for you ONG, you do not need any more to organize luxuous reunions with prestigious guests and champagne, and you do not need any more to hire an expensive fund raiser. All you have to do is to take your computer, go on the famous social network Facebook, and to download the killer application “Causes”.

“Causes” has been created by independant developpers few months ago, and has already became one of the most used application of Facebook (17 millions active user, something huge!). The idea? A system that allow you to create a page for a cause (anyone) you want to defend, and then to invite your friends to defend it with you. Thus, today, the Facebook main causes are “The support for breast cancer research”, “the support for saving Darfour”, or ” the support for stoping global warming”. Obviously, you can create a page for a less dramatic and funniest cause than those one, as did someones with the cause “save water, drink beer!”.

And if you manage to convince enouth people, you can start to ask for some donation. Of course, you will not become billionaire instantly, but with an avarage of 0,1 dollar per member of cause, you can raise good funds if you are convincing!
