P.A.V.O. Prod loves the geeks!

On this kind of geek blog, I couldn’t have post one of the best video of PAVO this year: the teaser of the “Beaty and the Geek party” at the Plaza Madeleine in Paris. As you can see, the video is based on the geek theme, and after having seen it, you will probably never make fun of geeks anymore!

CMM students also have their Lipdub!

As our english course with Bob Spaulding is nearly finished, we have decided to make a final video to conclude this great experience. And as I did for the J-E of the Celsa, I have filmed the CMM students doing a Lipdub, on the USA-AFRICA artists’ “we are the world” famous song”.

The last production of P.A.V.O. !

The P.A.V.O., the famous video association of the Celsa, has just make a new video for the J-E (“junior entreprise). This production was done to compete the “junior lipdub challenge”, organized by the french junior entreprise association. “Junior entreprise”, “lipdub”, you do not understand what I am talking about? Let me explain.

A “junior entreprise” is a school association which works like a small company within the school. Its goal is to propose to other societies the skills of the school students for some specific missions. This process is interesting for societies, because giving a mission to the junior communication is less expensive than giving it to a professional service provider. And off course, this is very interesting for students, who can improve their professional experience… and get money!

A lipdub is a specific kind of funny video, with one music and a group of people singing in “playback” on it. The all video must be filmed in only one sequence, which is very difficult to do. Actually, the lipdub style wasn’t very practicized on the web until an american communication agency, Connected Venture, decided to do a funny lipdub challenge between all original societies of the world (here is the page of this challenge, with all the first lipdubs). Since the begining of this game, a lot of lipdub have been made and this kind of video is now very appreciated is companies.

Now it seems to be the time of junior entreprise lipdub, and we hope the Celsa junior entreprise will be successfull with its creation! Click here to see the video!

What a WEI!

During this weekend happened one of the funniest events of the school year: the WEI (Week End of Integration). For 3 days, all the new students of the school meet eacheother somewhere in France (this year, it was not far from Niort) to discover their new colleagues and make parties.

Before this week end, my Original Audio Visual Pole of the school (PAVO) maked a “teaser” to promote the event, and encourage the new students to take un place for the WEI.  And obviously, the PAVO was there during the week end: to film the activities, but also to bring good ideas. For instance we decided to build a kind of “confessional” during the saterday night party. We just put a camera in a cupboard we had decorated, and allowed everybody to go in the “confessional” during the party and to say whatever he/she wanted to say. This had a great succes, and a lot of people came to talk to the camera. Many came to thank the organisators of the WEI, others came to do gags, others to do funny confessions, etc…

Actually, this confessional was a very good experience, and we wish we will finalize the video as soon as possible, because everybody wants to see it!
